2024 Solano County Point-In-Time (PIT) Count

The Point-In-Time (PIT) Count is part of the nationwide initiative to provide a snapshot of the number and demographics of those experiencing homelessness, based on the definition provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The Solano County PIT Count was a community effort conducted on January 31, 2024. For this snapshot in time, it is reported that there are 1,725 unhoused (1,436 unsheltered) individuals in Solano County. The PIT Count further outlines that 682 unhoused (665 unsheltered) are experiencing homelessness in Vallejo, which accounts for roughly 40% of the unhoused in Solano County and 46% of the unsheltered population. The PIT Count shows that Vallejo has the highest percentage of unhoused population in the City of Vallejo.
