Council provides staff with direction for the VPD HQ

During the April 12 Regular City Council Meeting, Council gave staff direction to provide a deeper dive analysis on the possibility of placing the Vallejo Police Department at 505 Santa Clara Street which currently serves as the JFK Library. Additionally, Staff was also directed to look into the feasibility of moving the library to 400 Mare Island Way.

Staff will return to Council around September 2022 with complete reports and additional alternative funding sources for the project(s).
