Navigation Center Update: Solano County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds, CAP Solano JPA Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Program (HHAP) Funds & Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) Funds from Housing

In the past few months, the City of Vallejo has been able to secure additional funds for the Vallejo Homeless Navigation Center. The City was awarded $1.5 million from the Solano County ARPA funds, $1,082,582 million from CAP Solano JPA of HHAP2, HHAP3, and ESG-CV funding and the Housing Commission and City Council allocated $750,000 from FY 2023-2024 of CDBG funding. These funds have been instrumental in helping move the project forward.

The City of Vallejo has finalized the purchase and sale of the Navigation Center Location (1937 Broadway St). The Vallejo Homeless Navigation Center is currently in the design phase and has released its Operator RFP on May 8, 2023 and will release its Construction Bid in Fall 2023.
