Public Hearing Notice: 6th Cycle Housing Element Update

On December 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM, the City Council will hold a public hearing to consider adoption of the proposed 6th Cycle Housing Element Update (HEU), which includes amendment of the General Plan, a zoning map amendment to upzone three sites, and a text amendment to Chapter 16.301 of the Vallejo Municipal Code to confirm “by right” development provisions for certain Housing Element sites, as required by State Law in order to accommodate the City’s Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA). The Planning Commission considered the proposed 6^th cycle HEU on December 11, 2024 and recommended its adoption by the City Council.
