Upcoming Demolition Work to Begin April 21st

Dear Neighbors:

Please be advised that demolition work required to remove the existing Sacramento Street Bridge over Mare Island Railway will begin on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, and will last approximately one week.

The nature of the work requires breaking apart the concrete bridge deck by jackhammering and removal of the steel supporting structure and concrete foundations.

Please anticipate elevated construction noise during this phase of construction.
