February 2024 - Council Goals Update

On February 20, 2024 City Staff brought an update on Council Goals and progress. City Council and the City’s Senior leadership participated in a facilitated Goal Setting workshop, where the Council discussed their broad-based goals for the community and reviewed previously established multi-year goals. On September 19, 2023 Council reviewed the multiyear goals and priorities and provided clarification to staff and on September 26, 2023, the Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Council Goals and Priorities.

At the February 2024 Council meeting staff presented updates on projects and programs that relate to Council’s five priority areas:

  1. Public Safety
  2. Efficient, Effective, and Responsive Government
  3. Economic Development
  4. Housing/Unhoused Response
  5. Youth Development
